New Sails, Canvas, Cushions and Repairs to all – Fast Professional Service!
Since 1972, Potomac Sailmakers has been serving the Washington, DC Metro area. We make new sails, marine canvas products, cushions and repairs to all. We are ready to meet all your sail and canvas needs.
We recommend washing sails & canvas every 2 years. Fall and Winter is the best time to wash. (We can still wash during other months but shipping charges will apply). Sails can be dropped off at our loft in Alexandria, VA and, during the late fall/early winter, in Annapolis. Our Inspection & washing form is here.
It is Fall! Despite the fact some of the days felt more like summer of late, winter is coming. If you need repairs or a replacement to your Dodger, Bimini, or other canvas, now is the time. Over the winter months it is cooler and we prefer to do our outdoor measurement and fittings when it is not so blazing hot. Boat on the hard? No problem!
NEW! Flexible Solar Panel Mounting System
Our vented, lightweight & strong twinwall polycarbonate substrate that is custom cut to the dimensions of your Solar Panel. Allows panels to go over bows, prevents crystal destruction by flagging and excessive bending and provides needed cooling. Read more here.
